Late Afternoon Backyard Portraits – Summer’s Fabulous Cat Life

One of my human’s favorite times to photograph me is in the late afternoon. And one of her favorite places for portraits is this spot in the backyard.

But this is the first time she really took note of the shadows the fencing created around me.

At first she mostly saw the shadows as an interesting pattern, and also kept moving me around so the shadows didn’t fall on my face.

But then she realized something really cool! The bar at the bottom was creating this zigzag pattern on one side of the frame.

There were also some interesting effects, photographing me from above.
