Fun Time at the Pet Shop

We were out of my food again, so I had another pet shop visit! I know, it seems like I run out of food a lot! But there’s a reason. Since I’m a small cat and I don’t eat a lot, my human buys each brand of my food at different pet shops. That way, she spreads our visits to a variety of small local businesses. And I get more outings. So it’s a win-win for everyone.

There was a big dog at the shop when we got there, so we kept our distance until he and his owner left. While we were waiting for them to check out, my human let me explore one of the cat trees and some of the soft bedding on display.

Once they were gone I could explore freely. One of the first places I headed for was the display of catnip toys.

I also stopped by the dog section, but not for long. Because, let’s face it, dog toys are boring!

We didn’t get any cat treats this visit, but I still wanted to look.

I also got petted by a very nice store employee.

He even offered me a treat. It was all fish though, so I wasn’t that interested. But it was nice of him to offer.

The best part? My human got me a new Barnyarn Buddy to replace the one the peach kitty ruined!
